Trust the metaphor, trust the signs from the universe… this helps me. Thank you.

I so enjoyed reading this! My introduction to Pam came first via Cowboys are my Weakness because that read true for me as well. Since then I've followed her, looking over her shoulder as she shares her life so intimately. I admire you and Pam so much and consider you as mentors in both my writing and life. Thank you for all you do!

Oh I loved this. Pam’s book Cowboys are My Weakness was instrumental in my life (raft and climbing guides were my weaknesses) love her and can’t wait to see her in @Jackson Hole next week. Love your writing too … you have both been great role models.

When I start to feel overwhelmed by the state of the natural world or the state of our current political climate, Pam's writing lifts me back up, and I remember that it IS possible to deeply love a world in peril and to continue to find beauty and meaning all around me. Thank you for this powerful interview!

Not only did I enjoy Pam's "Five Things", but that picture of you two brings back wonderful memories, because I was there (taking your class at the Writer's Conference)! I have another great pic from that night of you, Pam and Erin(?), out on the deck at Siren's. Your talents and generous hearts are a continuing inspiration.

I love when I pause and take time to read a post and am gratified with good, lively writing and introduction to a must-read author. There are so any of then I get overwhelmed, but this time can add one more author to my must-read stack. Glad to meet you, Pam Houston.
